NEADS Service Dogs for Veterans Programs match highly skilled Service Dogs with United States veterans from any conflict who have a permanent physical disability, are deaf or who have profound hearing loss, or have MS or other progressive conditions. (These disabilities do not need to be combat related.) The Trauma Assistance Dog program (TAD) is designed for OIF/OEF/OND veterans with diagnosed combat-related post-traumatic stress. Thanks to generous donors and federal and state funding, there is no fundraising requirement for veterans who are eligible for our program.
Primary Care Services for Veterans in the Rochester area: Offers individual and group counseling to veterans, as well as wellness workshops on a variety of topics including stress management, sleep, hygiene. Home based primary care, blood drawing and analysis, prescriptions including emergency medications, radiology.
